    The role:

    Due to our continued growth and success, a new position of VP of Engineering has been created. This person will have global responsibility for Salaso’s technical architecture, software development, deployment, operations and support of Salaso’s first-in-class precision prescription exercise and wellbeing product.

    As a senior leader, you will provide broad technical expertise and leadership in software execution and innovation at Salaso. You will be responsible for building and managing a thriving and dynamic software development team that is working at the forefront of digitally enabled precision prescription exercise and employee wellbeing platforms.

    As a senior contributor on both a strategic and operational level, you will be instrumental in driving Salaso’s overall technology strategy to support the company’s long-term strategic goals. You are as comfortable working with your team as you are with the Board of Directors or with our client base. We are a predominantly an agile technical environment and we use the latest web technologies and tools – Angular, AWS, SQL Databases as well as No SQL, Micro services (Node Express), Unit testing/ Code coverage, Linux and Ionic/Cordova.

    You will demonstrate outstanding teamwork ability with a proven track record in developing strong relationships with product development, marketing, customer success, sales and finance. Working with our national and international client base, you are able to lead and influence complex technical discussions with stakeholders and formulate solutions that balance strategic foresight and business imperativ

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and direct software development, strategic and tactical planning and budgeting.
    • Ensure flawless quality and scalability of all software, platforms and applications.
    • Think strategically and operate tactically to drive and deliver on the technology and product vision.
    • Partner with product management and other teams to imagine, design, develop, test, and launch software applications that deliver for our client base and empower our end users.
    • Actively work to build and mentor a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled software and technology team.
    • Ensure that all systems are architected and executed in a manner to provide the on-time delivery of the product against goals with the best customer facing experience at the lowest cost.
    • Optimise our ability to deliver high-volume web and mobile application offerings while efficiently increasing our capacity to deliver on customised offerings multiple times per year.
    • Implement processes and metrics to ensure that the software team is efficient and focused.


    Qualifications / Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is required (MSc or Ph.D. preferred)
    • Minimum of 5 years in a software engineering management position such as Head of Development or VP of Engineering.
    • Experience working in a scaling fast-growth technology organisation is desirable.
    • Proven experience in building high-performance teams and scalable best-practices in a technology SaaS organisation.
    • Experienced in developing web applications in a public cloud environments with a good understanding of DevOps and automation.
    • Experienced in managing complex technical and business challenges with a solution oriented approach.
    • Experienced leading design and software development teams in an agile scrum development environment.
    • Hands-on technical experience driving systems architecture, looking at the big picture and how the design will fit into the corporate strategy.

  • Clinical Liaison

    The role:

    The Clinical Liaison will support Salaso customers in a number of clinical and research settings (e.g. neurology, oncology) in the NYC area. Salaso products are implemented as both a prescription exercise tool for patients and as a wellness application for employees. The Clinical Liaison will support client led clinical research projects, by supporting end users and clinical team engagement. In addition, the role will support clients in driving end user engagement with our employee wellness product and investigate how to improve disease management for MSK. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, builds strong customer relationships and is driven by making an impact for our customers. The Clinical Liaison will work primarily at client sites based in Long Island, NY and in the wider NYC area.


    Responsibilities:

    • Support Principal Investigators using Salaso Health Solutions in clinical research studies.
    • Encourage engagement with the application by end users and the clinical team, both in person and remotely, ensuring they are comfortable with the Salaso application.
    • Delivering education and training sessions on the Salaso application to a variety of audiences including clinicians, patient end users and employees using the employee wellness application.
    • Work with the client claims department to examine how to improve disease management in MSK.
    • Support our customer’s adoption of the Salaso platform, as well as monitor metrics and customer engagement to ensure the continued adoption of the platform.
    • Plan and attend planned customer employee events, demonstrating the product to end users.
    • Communicate the benefits of the product and collaborate with the client to encourage end user engagement.
    • Recommend or build solutions required to get the client group engaged quickly and effectively.
    • Review metrics to monitor customer engagement, make recommendations and take actions to improve the engagement/adoption.
    • Serve as the Salaso subject matter expert (SME) on Salaso product capabilities.
    • Provide feedback to our Product & Platform Engineering teams that inform additional product and sales opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the Customer Support team to ensure end user queries are resolved promptly.
    • Completes special projects or other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    • Doctorate in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
    • Required Licenses: Physical Therapist License-NYS or Occupational Therapist License-NYS
    • Strong relationship building and influencing skills.
    • 2+ years of relevant experience in clinical research, ideally in neurology but not essential.
    • Deep understanding of rehabilitation.
    • Ability to identify problems, develop and implement solutions to address research or implementation issues.
    • A passion for exercise and healthcare reform, and interested in working in leading edge web based healthcare technologies.
    • Very comfortable working with technology with hands-on working experience in the implementation of digital healthcare applications is desirable.
    • High level of motivation, self-starter, excellent at follow-up, team-player with ability to deliver within defined timelines.
    • Strong consulting and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), with the ability to explain technical and clinical subjects to both
    • clinical and non-clinical end users.
    • Passion for problem-solving and creative solutions.
    • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and to manage multiple tasks independently.
    • Advanced written and spoken English.
    • The candidate will work at client sites and must be willing to travel when required.

Headquartered at Kerry Technology Park in Tralee, with offices in the UK and the US, Salaso is passionate about the power and value of exercise to promote the health and wellbeing of its clients

    As part of its product offering, the company has developed a suite of employee well-being programmes tailored to specific client requirements including employee wellness and injury prevention. The product encompasses instruction related through curated videos and live streaming sessions, and can be white labelled for each client. Engagement is integral to success of the programme, and the company seeks the services of a certified personal trainer to enhance the connection with the company and achieve desired outcomes.

    The Personal Trainer serves as the bridge between the employee wellbeing programme and the user through in person group led sessions (virtual, phone and/or live). The role holder demonstrates a sound understanding of the objectives of the relevant programme. Possessing strong interpersonal and technical skills to engage the client, they will convey the important role the programme can play in employee wellbeing. The Personal Trainer is skilled at leading and engaging groups energetically while incorporating education about Salaso’s employee well-being programmes and wellness.


    Responsibilities/Expectations:

    • Under the direction of Lead Personal Trainer demonstrates a solid understanding of the programme design, benefits and methods of instruction.
    • Prepares curated sessions, as requested, based on session objectives, workforce needs or other client requests.
    • Conducts instructional sessions (video, live stream and phone) with clients.
    • Manages and co-ordinates with clients on event timing, logistics and set up.
    • Responds to client inquiries related to programme content, and make suggestions relative to modified or alternative exercises.
    • Conveys client feedback to management.
    • Participates in product development or other corporate initiatives, as requested.
    • Confidently lead group sessions on various platforms and mediums (zoom,video conferencing, over the phone, in person)
    • Inspire individuals through knowledge and experience; build a positive and trusting relationship with clients.
    • Strong organisational skills, coordinating client requirements with both internal team and client champions.
    • Technically savvy with an ability to set up and record their own training sessions.
    • Able to perform all essential physical tasks of the position which may include sitting, standing, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling.
    • Inspires a healthy lifestyle and conveys a passion for holistic health.
    • Energetic and personable.
    • Explain exercises in detail and suggest alternatives if needed.
    • Perform CPR and administer first aid in case of emergencies.
    • Deliver online exercise programmes to clients in Ireland, Middle East and East coast USA.

    Job Requirements:

    • Certified Personal Trainer certification
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Leisure, Anatomy/Physiology, Biomechanics,Kinesiology or Sports Science is highly desirable)
    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in personal training; experience in leading and engaging groups.
    • Technically capable with the ability to set up and record personal training sessions.
    • Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to coordinate logistics and set up of client events / programmes.
    • Knowledge of healthcare industry dynamics.
    • Knowledge of basic health and wellness (diet, exercise, self-care)

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and define a suite of client analytics to drive improved client experience and product optimisation.
    • Build and expand data tools and platforms.
    • Explore and analyse all available data to measure and analyse performance and input to decision making in future projects and product development.
    • Employ analytical techniques to interpret key findings from company data and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes.
    • Be a resource and advocate for data in the organisation by teaching and empowering others to use data.
    • Create visually impactful dashboards and custom reports summarising data for the leadership team and customers.
    • Create, develop and deliver reports and key metrics dashboards.
    • Work closely with leaders across product, sales, and marketing to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions.

    About You:

    • Experienced using statistics to generate clear and effective recommendations.
    • Capable of communicating data analysis to different audiences e.g. Product, Marketing, Sales.

    Responsibilities:

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B marketing and customer acquisition marketing for a B2B SaaS or technology business.
    • Experience in digital health technology or Software as a Medical Device (SaaMD) industry will be an advantage.
    • International marketing experience, preferably with the USA market.
    • Excellent written communications and copywriting skills.
    • Creative and innovative thinker.
    • Demonstrable experience of creating marketing assets such as sales collateral, landing pages, ad posts, email templates, brochures.
    • Strong experience in managing budget and paid campaigns across Google AdWords (Search, display, email, retargeting) and Social (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook).
    • Experience in using Salesforce and other sales and marketing platforms.
    • High level of proficiency with managing and interpreting campaign data, budgeting, reporting, analysis, troubleshooting, optimisation.
